About Our Firewood… 

To ensure you have a great experience, we only sell premium firewood that’s fully dry and ready to burn immediately. 

What makes our firewood “premium”?

• Top quality hardwood – no rotten or bug infested wood
• Smaller splits that are easier to handle and easier to ignite
• Clean. Seasoned wood is stacked or piled on pallets so it doesn’t get all muddy and dirty
• Guaranteed dry. Whether you choose our seasoned wood (and we actually know what that means) or kiln dried firewood, every batch is moisture tested to under 20% so we know it’ll burn well.

What is kiln dried firewood?

Kiln dried wood is better than seasoned wood in many ways.

Kiln drying is a process of heating up unseasoned wood to evaporate off the moisture that’s in the wood. Commercial kilns can get over 180 degrees for a sustained period which also kills all mold, fungus, and insects.

Kiln drying makes the wood easier to light, burn hotter, and with less smoke and less creosote buildup. 

Delivery and Stacking

Delivery offered throughout most of Chesterfield, Powhatan, and Amelia Counties. Order early…delivery fees are higher during peak times, e.g. right before perfect Fall weather, or when snow is in the forecast.

FREE STACKING AVAILABLE: we’ll gladly stack your order free of charge ONLY if we can back the truck up to your rack or stacking location. Otherwise, we’ll need to drop the wood in an area accessible by the truck. We will not cart or carry wood through gates or up/down steps.
